Lodge Trails

Due to construction issues the Kentucky Lincoln Trail and the Lincoln Memorial Trail are both temporally closed. However we expect them to reopen soon. So please feel free to read the information below.
The Kentucky Lincoln Trail is a 33 mile trek that takes two full days to complete. This hike begins at the high school in Elizabethtown, KY and continues to the Abraham Lincoln National Historic park near Hodgenville, KY. This hike should only be taken by hikers with prior experience. The Lincoln Memorial Trail is the second half of the Kentucky Lincoln Trail and covers 14 miles from Lincoln's boyhood home at Knob Creek to the National Historic Park. This trail is the ideal one day trail for groups wanting to hike the scenic countryside of Kentucky and to learn about our sixteenth president.
In addition to the Lincoln Trails the lodge is proud to help sponsor the 10 mile Seven Arrows Trail at Camp Crooked Creek. This trail is an ideal way to spend a day at camp and discover the beautiful and interesting natural landscape where Camp Crooked Creek is situated. Hikers can chose to hike either all or any part of the majestic 10 mile trail, such as the 1.5 mile Camp Lowe Loop or the roughly 5 miles from Camp Lowe to and around Camp Crooked Creek. In addition this trail can be used towards the hiking requirements for 2nd Class or the Hiking Merit Badge.
If you are interested in hiking either of these trails please refer to the below brochure and permit or contact the Lodge Trails Committee at lodgetrails@talligewi62.org.
