On August 21st to 23rd, we will once again be closing down Camp Crooked Creek for the summer by conducting our annual August Ordeal.

Fellow Lodge Members, it has been a busy last few months for our Lodge.

Fellow Lodge Members, I am happy to report that our Lodge is making progress and growing once again.

Recently, Talligewi Lodge 62 sent a delegation of members to the annual SR-6 Conclave that was held this year at Camp Davy Crockett in the Sequoyah Council.

The chapters of Talligewi Lodge 62 have recently undergone realignment in an effort to make them more productive.

New lodge members and Brotherhood members

First, I would like to thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to come to our Fall Ordeal this year.

Fall Fellowship is one of the two times out of the year that the Lodge does not meet to work!

A new year, a new executive committee, and a new you!

The Brotherhood committee will be offering one final chance to seal your membership in the Order of the Arrow by completing your brotherhood at the upcoming Fall Fellowship.

The 2009 Fall Business meeting will be held Sunday October, 18th 2009 at the 2009 Fall Fellowship (Oct. 16th – 18th, 2009) at Camp Crooked Creek.

On January 9, 2010, Talligewi Lodge 62 will be holding its annual Winter Banquet at the Holiday Inn Lakeview in Clarksville, IN. Registration will begin at 6:30 PM and the night will most likely end around 10 PM at the latest.

It is hard to believe that 2009 is already coming to a close. It has been full of ups and downs, as well as several learning opportunities within it.

We are wrapping up what is proving to be an excellent year for our Lodge. We have accomplished thousands of service hours to our Council Camps, we took our largest contingent ever to NOAC, and we are on track to be a Quality Lodge for 2009.

At this past October's Fall Fellowship we once again conducted out annual elections for Lodge Officers.

Attention all troops and teams as we once again enter a new year it is time for you to schedule your annual OA Unit Election.

The Lodge is off to a wonderful start and everything is in full swing for 2010. I hope to see everyone at the upcoming Winter Banquet as we kick off this new year.

As we begin preparing for to host the SR-6 Conclave in April of 2011, we have noticed that Camp Crooked Creek is going to need a lot of work and repairs before it can host 1,000 Arrowmen from an eight state area.

Conclave 2010 promises to be one of the best Conclaves ever to be seen in this Section. Some of you may be asking, “What is Conclave exactly?”

The Lodge Treasurer is pleased to announce the dues and event fees for 2010.

On November 7th the following Arrowmen completed their inductions to the Vigil Honor which is the highest honor a Lodge can bestow on a member.
